Ann Napolitano writes family sagas that track generations of love and damage. She earned her MFA from New York University and taught fiction at Brooklyn College and NYU before serving as associate editor of the literary magazine One Story. Her breakthrough novel Dear Edward (2020)—about the sole survivor of a plane crash—became an instant bestseller and an Apple TV+ series. Hello Beautiful (2023), inspired by Little Women, was Oprah's 100th Book Club pick and sold over a million copies. Napolitano lives in Park Slope, Brooklyn, with her husband and two sons.
