Caroline Peckham is a British author of fantasy romance. She writes with her co-author Susanne Valenti under the shared name the Twisted Sisters. Together they created the Zodiac Academy series, a nine-book story set at a Fae academy where rival students fight for power and survival. The books gained a large readership through BookTok and reached the top of Amazon and Wall Street Journal bestseller lists. Peckham and Valenti also wrote other series in the same dark fantasy romance vein, including Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac and The Awakening. Their work is known for long books, large casts, high-stakes magic and strong romantic tension. They also publish in audiobook and illustrated print editions, and many of their titles have been re-issued with new covers and extra material. Peckham's writing matters mainly for its place in the recent wave of academy-based romantic fantasy and for how a self-published series built a wide audience online.
