Charles Ambrose Storey was a British Orientalist and scholar of Persian and Arabic manuscript traditions. His multi-volume Persian Literature: A Bio-Bibliographical Survey, begun in 1927 and continued posthumously, is the foundational reference work on the Persian literary corpus and remains indispensable to scholars of Islamic manuscripts.
