Frank O'Hara

Frank O'Hara was an American poet, art critic, and curator at the Museum of Modern Art. A central figure of the New York School of poets, he wrote poems of startling immediacy and warmth that treated everyday experience with the same attention as high art. He died at forty after being struck by a dune buggy on Fire Island.
