Geetanjali Shree broke barriers with "Tomb of Sand," the first Hindi novel to win the International Booker Prize in 2022. The Indian author's eighth novel follows an eighty-year-old widow who shocks her family by traveling to Pakistan, crossing the border that has defined the subcontinent since Partition.
