Jeannette Walls is an American author and journalist whose memoir The Glass Castle spent over seven years on the New York Times bestseller list. She worked as a gossip columnist for MSNBC and New York magazine before writing about her own impoverished childhood. The memoir was adapted into a 2017 film starring Brie Larson.
