Kenneth Oppel is a Canadian author of YA adventure and fantasy novels. Roald Dahl championed his first novel, written when Oppel was fourteen. His Airborn trilogy won the Governor General's Award and the Michael L. Printz Honor. He is also known for the Silverwing bat fantasy series.
