Lee Horsley is a British scholar of crime fiction who taught at Lancaster University. She is the author of The Noir Thriller and Twentieth-Century Crime Fiction, and maintains the CrimeCulture website, a widely used resource for crime fiction scholarship. Her research focuses on the intersections of gender, ideology, and form in popular fiction.
