Liz Tomforde

American

Liz Tomforde is a New York Times bestselling novelist and one of the largest self-published names in sports romance. Her Windy City series — Mile High, The Right Move, Caught Up, Play Along, Rewind It Back — has drawn millions of Goodreads ratings since 2022; before it came the Selfish duology, and after it In Her Own League and the Wilder Woods series, which opens with Cardinal Rule. She writes athletes: hockey players, ballplayers, men who look good in a uniform, and the women who have to live around a season's schedule. What sets the books apart is that the relationships work. Her couples communicate, apologise and hold boundaries in a genre that usually runs on a misunderstanding neither party will clear up. Born and raised in Northern California, Tomforde is the youngest of five children and worked as a flight attendant before writing full time. She loves dogs, travel and hockey, and walks her golden retriever Luke with an audiobook running.
