Marge Piercy is an American poet, novelist, and social activist whose work addresses feminism, social justice, and environmentalism. Her novel Woman on the Edge of Time is a landmark of feminist utopian fiction. Other notable works include Gone to Soldiers, He, She and It, and the poetry collection The Moon Is Always Female.
