Michael D. Shin is a scholar of modern Korean history and literature affiliated with the University of Cambridge. His research focuses on the cultural and intellectual history of colonial Korea, particularly the development of print culture, literary modernity, and nationalist thought in the 1920s and 1930s. He is a co-founder of the digital humanities project Korean History Source Book.
