Oyinkan Braithwaite's "My Sister, the Serial Killer" (2018) was shortlisted for the Booker Prize—a dark comedy about two Nigerian sisters, one of whom keeps killing her boyfriends. Braithwaite was born in Lagos and worked in publishing; her debut is economical, funny, and unsparing. The novel's 240 pages contain multitudes.
