Pam Godwin writes dark romance — captivity plots, morally compromised men, and heroines who outlast them. She spent seven years traveling, attended three universities, married the vocalist of her favorite rock band, and worked as a quantitative analyst until she left that career in 2014 to write full time. She publishes independently under the Heartbound Media imprint and has reached the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestseller lists. Her long-running Deliver series runs to nine books; her other series include the post-apocalyptic Trilogy of Eve, Tangled Lies, and Trails of Sin. Hills of Shivers and Shadows (2024) opened the Frozen Fate trilogy, in which a woman is held through an Alaskan winter in a remote cabin with four feral men. Godwin lives in the American Midwest with her husband, cats, retired greyhounds, and an old, foul-mouthed parrot.
