Richard P. Feynman was an American theoretical physicist known for his work in quantum electrodynamics, for which he won the Nobel Prize. He was also famous for his extraordinary teaching, his curiosity about everything, and his adventures outside physics—from safecracking to bongo drums to art. He is widely considered one of the greatest physicists and most charismatic scientists of the twentieth century.
