Robert A. Caro is an American journalist and biographer known for two monumental biographical projects: The Power Broker (Robert Moses) and The Years of Lyndon Johnson (four volumes published, fifth in progress). He has won two Pulitzer Prizes, two National Book Awards, and the National Humanities Medal. His work sets the standard for biographical research.
