Robert Galbraith is the pseudonym of J.K. Rowling, the British author famous for the Harry Potter series. Under the Galbraith name, she writes the Cormoran Strike detective series, which has been adapted for BBC television. The pseudonym was initially secret, intended to let the novels succeed on their own merits, but was revealed by a journalist in 2013.
