Robert M. Sapolsky is an American neuroendocrinologist and author who is a professor of biology and neurology at Stanford University. Known for his research on stress in primates and his popular books (Why Zebras Don't Get Ulcers, A Primate's Memoir, Behave), he is one of the most engaging science communicators working today.
