Sheila Heti is a Canadian novelist and essayist whose work blurs the boundaries between fiction, memoir, and philosophy. Her books include How Should a Person Be?, Motherhood, and Pure Colour. She is a central figure in the contemporary autofiction movement and a co-editor of the influential anthology Women in Clothes.
