South Korean
Soda Ice is the South Korean web novelist behind Beware the Villainess!, an isekai-villainess romance-fantasy originally serialized as a web novel on Naver Series and Blice before its webtoon adaptation. Writing under a pseudonym, as is standard practice in the Korean web-fiction industry, Soda Ice built the series' premise of a modern reader reincarnated into the body of a doomed villainess who rewrites her own fate. The story's success led to an officially licensed webtoon run on Tapas and a print manhwa edition from Yen Press's Ize Press imprint, adapted for the page by Berry and illustrated by Blue Canna. No further biographical details about Soda Ice have been publicly disclosed.
