T.J. Rose

British

T. J. Rose writes queer romance out of the United Kingdom, and rarely sets it anywhere that exists. The Killigrew Street Case Files — Bite Marks & Broken Hearts, Moonlit Nights & Northern Lights, Glitched Fates & Stolen Mates — run on paranormal casework and slow-building couples; the Shadow and Light duology and The Sky Pirate's Stowaway trade that for fantasy and airships. Her characters swing between sweetness and chaos inside plots built for speed. Away from the page she plots doomsday scenarios and works through horror films, sometimes at the same time, and walks the British countryside with a coffee, hoping the sun turns up. With the Australian novelist W. H. Lockwood she co-writes Deathball, a dark MM sports romance set in an arena where enslaved men fight to the death and the reigning champion, Marco, is assigned to train Robin, the newcomer he is supposed to destroy. She publishes independently.
