Truman Capote

Truman Capote was an American novelist, screenwriter, and playwright who pioneered the nonfiction novel with In Cold Blood. His earlier works include Breakfast at Tiffany's and Other Voices, Other Rooms. Known for his flamboyant personality and literary celebrity, he was a central figure in American literary life from the 1950s through the 1970s.
