Victor H. Mair

Victor H. Mair is Professor of Chinese Language and Literature at the University of Pennsylvania and one of the leading sinologists in the English-speaking world. His work spans early Chinese texts, oral traditions, and the history of the Chinese writing system. He is the general editor of the Columbia History of Chinese Literature and the Hawai'i Reader in Traditional Chinese Culture.
