Viktor Pelevin is the most prominent Russian novelist of the post-Soviet era. His satirical, philosophically charged novels — including Omon Ra, Generation P, and The Sacred Book of the Werewolf — combine postmodern technique with Buddhist philosophy and sharp political commentary. He is famously reclusive and rarely gives interviews.
