Yukito Ayatsuji

Yukito Ayatsuji is a Japanese mystery writer who launched the shin honkaku (new orthodox) movement in Japanese detective fiction with The Decagon House Murders. His 'House' series—each set in an architecturally distinctive building—revived the tradition of fair-play puzzle mysteries in Japan. He is also known for his horror fiction and his work on the Another series.
